Painting

I was totally stunned to silence (which is rare) when I received this gorgeous painting created by Sophie Degunst, another Twitter friend.

Sophie had asked me many weeks ago via Twitter whether I prefer the colour of coffee or tea to which I nonchalantly responded: “Actually I don’t drink either,” which was really unhelpful since she was sneakily trying to decide on the best colours to use to create her painting.

In the end she opted for tea and this was partly how the painting was lovingly made – using tea with the addition of chicory. So incredibly creative she is and I was so very moved to receive it.

I was happy to establish a home for it too – it takes pride of place on one of the walls in my living room. Thank you very much, Sophie.
