Let the Shows Begin

It’s a little over a month until the first gallery gig happens at The Gallery Cafe in Bethnal Green on the 24 July. Really pleased to be joined by singer/songwriter and friend Kaz Simmons on this event. Kaz will be releasing her fourth studio recording, Signs, later this year. Expect a taster of songs from the record as well as a performance of some of her earlier work. Get your tickets in, peeps.

Eurovision Song Contest

It was a privilege and a pleasure to have been asked to be on the jury panel of Eurovision last week. Sitting alongside celebrated songwriter, composer and producer Tony Hatch, veteran DJ Tony Blackburn, songwriter Rita Campbell and west end actress Natalie McQueen, I was in very fine company. Certainly an experience to be remembered, our votes on the Eurovision entries counted towards the decision made on which countries would enter the Saturday night final. Here we all are after our work was done.

Another Night at the Green Note

A fantastic night was had at The Green Note last week Thursday. Joined on stage by the wonderful Tom Robinson and British rising rapper Swami Baracus, it was a night filled with warmth, laughs and love. Live with The Tom Robinson Band

On Air in Slovakia

Slovakian radio presenter, Peter Radványi has enthused about Slovakia’s largest blues festival held in November which I had the pleasure of performing at with guitarist, Johnnie Pastor and his group. The festival was a successful event featuring national and international artists. Peter has also been supporting Day Dawns on his show and played songs from the album.
