I have long been a fan and listener of Robert Elms’ show on BBC Radio London and have been keen for him to hear the music of Day Dawns. It was therefore a real pleasure to hand him a copy of the album personally, which I did at the weekend, and a further thrill to hear the opening track, Don’t You Keep Yourself Down, playing on his show on Monday afternoon. I switched on the radio, and there it was. A very nice surprise indeed.
